Renown Health in Reno, NV is seeking a Patient Safety Assistant to sit with patients on Suicide/Behavioral watch to prevent harm. This role does not provide direct patient care but supports safety and monitoring within the unit.

You will assist nursing staff, communicate with patients and families in a caring, professional manner, and work with diverse age groups in a high‑intensity environment. A mobility course certification within 90 days of hire is required.

Formación

• Patient/healthcare related experience preferred.
• Certification in Patient Safety Assistant Mobility Course within 90 days of hire.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, computer skills to complete online learning requirements, forms and enrollment.

Responsabilidades

• Sit with patients on Suicide/Behavioral watch to prevent harm to themselves or others.
• Assist nursing staff in a timely and consistent manner.
• Communicate with patients and families in a caring and professional manner.
• Demonstrate ability to work with Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients as part of the population served.
