AtlantiCare is seeking a Patient Safety Manager to lead the hospital-wide patient safety program, collaborating with safety officers, risk managers and frontline staff to strengthen safety culture and outcomes.

The role focuses on prioritizing safety initiatives, reviewing events, conducting analyses, and sharing lessons learned to prevent recurrence. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare field required.
• 5+ years in a healthcare-related role.
• Master's degree in healthcare or business preferred.
• Equivalent experience or 2+ years in healthcare leadership.
• CPPS and/or CPHQ preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Lean certification preferred.
• Clinical experience or 2+ years direct patient care preferred.
• 1+ years in patient safety experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating regulatory surveys and projects.
• Proficiency with clinical applications required within 30–60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the hospital-wide patient safety program.
• Coordinate with safety officers, risk managers, and clinical staff.
• Identify, review, and follow up on safety events.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication and share lessons learned.
• Oversee daily morning safety huddle and participate in committees.
