Job Summary and Qualifications
  • The Coordinator manages the patient experience program, addresses patient concerns and grievances, and acts as a patient advocate.
  • Oversees the Volunteer Program at the hospital.
Responsibilities include:
  • Acting as liaison with internal departments and external agencies.
  • Developing and monitoring patient safety and risk management programs.
  • Responding to grievances in compliance with TJC and CMS standards.
  • Consulting with hospital staff on patient safety indicators and process improvements.
  • Leading in patient safety initiatives and change management.
  • Managing the hospital's event reporting system.
Qualifications:
  • B.A. or B.S. required; clinical background preferred.
  • CPHRM or CPPS certification preferred; if not certified, must obtain within 12 months.
  • 2-3 years healthcare experience; safety, risk management, or quality improvement preferred.
  • Program management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good judgment and decision-making under pressure.
