Responsibilities

• Observe and communicate the patient's needs to the Registered Nurse responsible for the patient's care.
• Intervene to protect the patient and minimize the risk of injury by reorienting the patient, talking to the patient, or calling for assistance.
• Stay near the patient's bedside as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Respond efficiently to requests and needs with a patient-focused approach.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support Certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Prior work experience in a healthcare setting
• Enrolled in Nursing Assistant or Practical Nursing Program
