Responsibilities
- Observe and communicate the patient's needs to the Registered Nurse responsible for the patient's care.
- Intervene to protect the patient and minimize the risk of injury by reorienting the patient, talking to the patient, or calling for assistance.
- Stay near the patient's bedside as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Respond efficiently to requests and needs with a patient-focused approach.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Prior work experience in a healthcare setting
- Enrolled in Nursing Assistant or Practical Nursing Program
