Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant to provide continuous observation and a safe environment for assigned patients under the direction of an RN. This role focuses on infection control, patient privacy, and reporting changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.

The attendant will stay with patients, follow hospital policies, and perform non-clinical tasks to reduce anxiety, ensuring dignity and safety at all times.

Qualificações

• 0–1 years of experience as a patient sitter or similar role in healthcare.
• Ability to follow hospital policies and procedures.
• Commitment to infection control and patient privacy.

Responsabilidades

• Observe and monitor patients to ensure safety.
• Maintain continuous visual observation with patients at all times.
• Protect patient privacy and dignity during all interactions.
• Follow PPE and infection control precautions per guidelines.
• Report safety hazards or changes to the RN promptly.
• Assist with non-clinical tasks to reduce anxiety and restlessness.
• Keep patient environment clean and safe; follow policies.
