Elliot Health System's Elliot Hospital is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant to provide focused 1:1 monitoring and continuous observation for patients requiring enhanced safety. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe environment and timely reporting to the clinical team.

Responsibilities include accompanying patients to tests, following nurse guidelines for interactions, and staying with the patient to ensure safety while minimizing distractions.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.
• CPI completion within three (3) months of hire.

Mansioni

• Maintains focused 1:1 visual monitoring or continuous observation as required.
• Promotes a safe environment and reports safety concerns to clinical staff.
• Accompanies patient to diagnostic testing and procedures while maintaining observation.
• Communicates guidelines for interactions with the patient to assigned nurses.
• Stays with and monitors the patient, avoiding distractions during observation.
• Reports patient behavior details to RN and relief staff at shift end.
