Methodist Hospital Northeast in Texas seeks a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) to provide continuous observation for high‑risk patients, prevent falls and self‑harm, and assist with basic activities of daily living as needed. The PSA works closely with the patient care team to maintain a safe environment.

You will document patient status, communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff, follow fall-prevention and infection-control protocols, and participate in performance improvement

Formación

• Must be able to observe patients continuously and respond promptly.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and care teams.
• Follows safety protocols including fall prevention and infection control.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain direct line of sight with patient at all times.
• Document patient status and activities accurately.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Notify team of changes in patient condition and escalate as required.
• Promote privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
• Engage in teamwork to support patient safety and experience.
