The role requires NC CNA listing, CPR certification, and de-escalation training within 3 months of hire. Preferred at hire is one year of hospital experience, especially in critical care or behavioral health settings.

Formación

• Current NC CNA listing is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• AEGIS De-Escalation Training within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain vital signs and report abnormalities to the nurse.
• Document patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Address patient/family questions to the nurse.
• Attend to patient comfort and safety and prepare patients for examinations.
• Maintain aseptic technique in all procedures.
• Assist with basic nursing tasks and patient transport as directed.
• Support emergency life-saving measures under nurse supervision.
