Job summary

Main Line Health’s Riddle Hospital is seeking a Patient Safety Associate to provide 1:1 monitoring for patients on suicide precautions or close observation. You may be reassigned to Transport or Environmental Services when 1:1 duties aren’t required, contributing to a safe patient environment and overall team safety.

Experience in healthcare is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Enjoy tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and free employee parking as part of our benefits

• Related healthcare experience preferred.
• N/A licensures/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care and monitoring for patients requiring suicide precautions or close observation.
• If no 1:1 patients are present, assist Transport and/or Environmental Services as needed.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe environment and patient safety.
• Participate in hospital-wide safety initiatives and team collaborations.

Our Patient Safety Associates play an important role in providing a safe environment for our patients! As a PSA, you would provide 1:1 care and monitoring to our patients who require suicide precautions or close observation. If, at the start of your shift, there are no patients requiring 1:1 observation, you would be reassigned to assist the Transport and/or Environmental Services Department. Ultimately, you are a critical part in keeping our patients safe!
