Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Safety Associate at Lankenau Medical Center in Ardmore, PA. This full-time role offers 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with days and nights, and weekends on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities include 1:1 patient observation for safety and, when not required, support for Transport or Environmental Services to help keep patients safe. Educational requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent; related healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care and monitoring for patients requiring suicide precautions or close observation.
• If no patients require 1:1 observation, assist Transport and/or Environmental Services.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.

Our Patient Safety Associates play an important role in providing a safe environment for our patients! As a PSA, you would provide 1:1 care and monitoring to our patients who require suicide precautions or close observation. If, at the start of your shift, there are no patients requiring 1:1 observation, you would be reassigned to assist the Transport and/or Environmental Services Department. Ultimately, you are a critical part in keeping our patients safe!
