Qualifications

• Direct customer service experience preferred.
• Previous food service experience and/or work with therapeutic diets preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and snacks to patients in a professional manner.
• Maintain rotation of floor supplies and keep PAR levels.
• Deliver room service menus and instruct patients on meal ordering systems.
• Assess patients’ ability to use the meal order system.
• Communicate with nursing staff, nutrition techs, dietitians and call center staff.
• Use computerized diet sheets and access patient computer system.
• Record intake and calorie count information.
• Maintain HACCP compliance.
