Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Room Service Attendant to deliver patient meal trays and assist with bedside setup. You will greet patients, verify orders, and ensure timely service with a focus on courtesy and accuracy.

Responsibilities include cash handling for guest trays, maintaining cleanliness per HACCP standards, and supporting nursing staff with timely tray delivery. Prior experience in food service and healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of related work experience. Health care experience preferred.
• Related food service knowledge and customer service skills should be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Delivers room service meal trays to patients promptly with courtesy and follows hand hygiene protocol.
• Assists with bedside meal setup and verifies tray accuracy with patients.
• Handles cash payments for guest trays and provides correct change when needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas in line with HACCP standards.
• Attends department meetings and supports safety, sanitation, and infection control practices.
