Job summary

OhioHealth Environmental Services seeks dedicated associates for on-site daytime cleaning and maintenance across patient rooms, public areas, and service areas. You will follow assigned tasks, operate cleaning equipment safely, and assist with linen distribution and storeroom duties as needed.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED will be considered only with a valid work permit.
• 18-year-old individuals enrolled in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas and service areas per assignments.
• Move beds or furniture as needed to service customers and complete cleaning tasks.
• Follow department procedures and complete paperwork to monitor statistics.
• Use equipment safely and report issues through the work order system.
