Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to clean and maintain patient rooms and public areas, providing excellent customer service across the organization. You will perform tasks assigned to ensure cleanliness and safety, following established processes and documenting as required.

Flexible responsibilities include stocking, linen distribution, and assisting with storeroom maintenance. This role supports a high-reliability culture focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Customer service to all customers by cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, public areas and service areas.
• Willingness to follow departmental/organizational processes and complete all required paperwork.
• No degree required; HS diploma/GED preferred for those over 18 and not in high school.

Responsibilities

• Obtain assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from system, sheet, or direction.
• Follow proper usage of equipment and notify area through work orders for maintenance needs.
• Stock assigned carts and areas with supplies; include linen distribution.
• Willing to perform other duties to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Demonstrate high levels of customer service across the organization as part of a High Reliability Organization.
