Job summary

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for those over 18.
• 16- and 17-year-olds may be considered with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains defined areas of the organization, including patient rooms, public areas and service areas.
• Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from systems, sheets, or directions and completes tasks.
• Moves beds or furniture as needed to service customers and execute cleaning processes.
• Keeps carts and areas stocked; linen distribution included in stocking.
• Performs duties to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards and uses equipment per directions.
• Delivers high level of customer service to patients and other customers.
