Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking environmental services staff in Carrollton, GA. The role involves cleaning and stocking patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, and offices as directed. You will help patients and families, work closely with the team, and may participate in establishing procedures under supervision.

The position operates on the 2nd shift (Evenings) with some weekend work; training is provided and prior healthcare experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to follow directives; grammar school or above.
• Must, after brief training, demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies, and tools assigned.
• One week to three months on-the-job training.
• Previous experience in a medical facility is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, offices, and any other areas assigned by procedures.
• Assist patients, family members, and guests to assure customer satisfaction.
• Work as a team with our department and other departments to complete assignments and assist as necessary.
• May be asked to establish procedures under general supervision.
