Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking Environmental Services staff to perform daily cleaning and stocking of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, offices, and other areas as directed. You will assist patients, family and guests to ensure high customer satisfaction, and you will work as part of a team with our department and other departments.

External hires may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Training is provided; prior hospital experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to follow directives.
• Must, after brief training, be able to demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies, and tools assigned.
• One week to three months on-the-job training.
• Previous experience in a medical facility is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and stocking of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, and offices.
• Assist patients, family members, and guests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work as a team with our department and other departments to complete assignments.
• May be asked to establish procedures under general supervision.
