Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an Environmental Services team member to perform daily cleaning and room turnover in patient areas, wards, and facilities.

The role emphasizes safety, proper chemical handling, and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced hospital setting. Evening shift 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with 1 year of related experience; High School diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of handling, mixing, using, labeling, and disposal of all chemicals used in job functions

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service routinely in interactions with customers, coworkers, patients, visitors, physicians, and volunteers.
• Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
• Dusts horizontal surfaces and carpets as needed, empties wastepaper baskets, and cleans trash containers.
• Replenishes room supplies and ensures rooms are prepared for admission, discharge, and transfer.
