Job summary

CareNow in Franklin, TN is seeking a Patient Care Representative to deliver compassionate, patient-centered service in a busy urgent care. You will be the first point of contact, check-in patients, answer calls, verify coverage, and help patients complete enrollment and paperwork.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, is comfortable using multiple computer programs, and is required to obtain BLS within 30 days of start. Prior clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
• Military MOS/AFSC codes may apply as listed.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner and follow Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls and provide information or refer questions.
• Verify insurance timely and accurately.
• Ensure the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and collect insurance/demographic information.
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift and document all payments.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner. Ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed
• Answers phone calls to the clinic and provides information or refers questions to others as needed
• Verifies insurance timely and accurately
• Ensures the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures
• Reviews all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and insures collection of necessary insurance / demographic information
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift. Includes all forms of payment are accounted for and documented

What Qualifications you will need:

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
