• Verifies insurance and payer information; reviews Medicare/ABN forms as needed.
• Collects copayments and posts payments per policy; reconciles cash and receipts.
• Performs order entry for lab patients in Admitting as required.
• Adheres to Safety and Infection Control guidelines; reports unsafe conditions.
• Communicates effectively with patients and team; documents all activities.
• Maintains confidentiality per hospital policy; supports patient financial counseling referrals.
• Completes shift tasks and communicates issues to supervisor; assists with training as needed.
• Provides patient transportation within the campus when required.
• Gathers complete patient data for registration; ensures accuracy of records.
• Completes patient coverage and eligibility verification; coordinates with clinical team.
• Acknowledges age-appropriate care requirements as outlined.
