Responsibilities include obtaining account information, explaining charges, processing paperwork, and maintaining cash handling protocols while ensuring compliance and quality service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior healthcare registration experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Customer service oriented and helpful attitude.
• Good interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks and clerical duties.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients to obtain necessary account information.
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization.
• Explain policies regarding services, charges, and payments.
• Process registration paperwork and maintain charts.
• Maintain cash drawer integrity and prepare daily deposits.
• Register and admit patients after hours.
• Escort patients or arrange for escort services.
• Attend mandatory education and training sessions.
• Welcome patients and family members professionally.
• Research patient visit history and assign coverages.
