Job Description

This position is in our Emergency room in Brownstown, which is a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and communication are imperative in this role. This position requires every other weekend and rotating Holidays. The shift for this position is 7p-330a, can included midnight (1030p-7a) coverage if needed, This is a part time position and you will work around 20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards, and behaviors.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience related to patient admitting, registration, and/or insurance eligibility and verification in a hospital or medical office setting.
• EPIC training/experience and ICD-10 medical terminology experience.
