Henry Ford Health in West Bloomfield, MI is seeking a Patient Registration Representative for full-time afternoon shifts (1pm–11:30pm). You will greet patients, verify insurance, and handle cash collections while updating records.

As a Patient Registration Rep, you'll be the welcoming face and voice for patients, ensuring a smooth and compassionate registration process. You'll support patients, visitors, and clinical/non-clinical staff by managing registration, insurance verification, and cash collections. Your role is vital in creating a positive first impression and ensuring patients feel supported from the moment they connect with us.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service over the phone, in person, and in writing.
• Willingness and ability to instruct others.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, or insurance eligibility in a hospital or medical office setting.
• EPIC training/experience and familiarity with insurance payor systems.
