Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration information and insurance verification to ensure accurate hospital registrations.
• Supervise and train staff; coordinate scheduling and bed management coordination when needed.
• Distribute work to ensure efficient patient registration and timely processing of forms.
• Pre-register patients by phone and from computer databases, printing packets and armbands.
• Mails questionnaires and maintains accurate patient records prior to arrival.
• Open and supervise registration sites and support department communications.
