TRA Medical Imaging is seeking a Registration Specialist to greet patients and clients warmly in a radiology reception setting, register patients, and process insurance information. You will collect payments and coordinate with medical facilities while maintaining privacy and a team-based approach.

The role requires minimal judgment and forward planning to meet daily goals in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth within our Tacoma-based practice.

Competenze

• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of recent, related experience, or equivalent education and training.

Mansioni

• Greet and register patients for radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and answering questions.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and demographics; ensure complete paperwork for the modality and communicate with medical facilities as needed.
• Collect account payments.
• Handle routine office administrative procedures including word processing, sorting and reviewing referrals, faxing and keeping workstations and patient areas clean.
• Navigate the RIS system and scan documents.
• Check work email daily.
• Follow HIPAA privacy and security policies and procedures.
• Perform other related work as required.
