Job summary

Tra-Medical-Imaging, headquartered in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Registration Specialist to greet patients and clients warmly, register patients, and manage payment collection. This role works as part of a team and supports the site manager or lead with various duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent, related experience.
• Familiarity with radiology CPT codes is a plus.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients and medical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients for radiology procedures.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and demographics; ensure paperwork is complete.
• Collect account payments.
• Handle routine office administrative tasks and maintain clean workstations.
• Navigate the RIS system.
• Check and respond to work email daily.
• Follow HIPAA privacy and security policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
