Job summary

Memorial Health System - Ohio is seeking a Registration Receptionist in Belpre, OH. The role coordinates patient intake, answers calls, and schedules appointments while ensuring accurate data capture in the EHR and proper handling of copays and payments.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year of relevant experience; an Associate's degree may be considered. Medical practice experience is preferred in a courteous, confidential environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-year relevant experience required.
• In lieu of experience, Associates Degree may be considered based on relevancy.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical practice environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and directs phone calls, greets patients, and maintains office records.
• Registers patients and verifies data in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collects copays and payments, and reconciles daily cash reports.
• Explains insurance benefits and directs patients to financial counselors when needed.
• Operates office equipment and maintains confidentiality at all times.
