Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience required.
• In lieu of experience, Associates Degree may be considered based on relevancy of experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical practice environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and directs phone calls and serves as receptionist for the department.
• Registers patients using appropriate data entry and verifies patient records in the EHR.
• Collects co-pays and payments, and reconciles daily cash reports.
• Refs patients to financial counselors for out-of-pocket liabilities and payment plans.
• Operates office equipment and maintains office records as directed by supervisor.
