Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain all necessary account information
• Bedside registration using carts/computers on wheels
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization
• Calculate and collect patient liability
• Ensure necessary signatures for treatments
• Process patient charts according to workflow and productivity standards
• Assign Insurance Plans (IPlans) accurately
• Explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing
