You will interview patients at workstations or bedside, handle pre-certification/authorization, collect patient liabilities, obtain signatures, and ensure charts meet workflow standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients at workstations or bedside to obtain all necessary account information.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization.
• Calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
• Assign Insurance Plans (IPlans) accurately.
• Understand/explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payment of account.
