WHMC in Washington state is seeking a Patient Registrar to serve as a welcoming front-desk representative, registering patients accurately and courteously while upholding WHMC values and delivering an optimal patient experience.

The Patient Registrar represents WHMC as a welcoming official to patients and visitors and is responsible for accurate and courteous registration of patients in a manner that promotes WHMC values and contributes towards an optimum patient experience.
The Patient Registrar is responsible for responding to inquiries from the general public and serves as a preliminary information resource in referring calls/inquiries to appropriate departments/personnel.
Under the direction of the Manager of Patient Financial Services the Patient Registrar should be able to register a patient and look up the patient's eligibility online.
This position is primarily worked in an office environment. Primarily stationary with occasional standing, walking, lifting, reaching carrying, kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of objects weighing up to 20lbs. The position requires continuous finger dexterity and fine manipulation. The employee must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
