Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year's medical office experience preferred.
• Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred.
• Completion of medical terminology course or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient referrals to specialty providers, diagnostics and other resources.
• Schedule appointments in a timely manner and obtain required authorizations.
• Maintain continuity of care by tracking referrals and communicating details.
• Share information between providers and receiving facilities to ensure accuracy.
