Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Healthcare Patient Access Experience required, with progressively responsible experience in patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, financial clearance, care coordination, or other related front-end revenue cycle functions.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience required, which may include lead, supervisory, training, project coordination, or other operational support in a healthcare or Patient Access environment.
• Experience in multi-site healthcare organization or group preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Central Referral team.
• Provide leadership to the Admissions team and coordinate staffing.
• Ensure timely, accurate patient demographics, insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, and billing processes.
• Promote high levels of service and patient satisfaction through process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Director of Patient Access and leaders to improve departmental efficiency and patient experience.
