Job summary

CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services is seeking a Patient Recruiter to support recruitment for clinical studies in Covington, KY. You will handle calls, screen candidates, schedule visits, and maintain participant data in our clinical database.

Qualified applicants bring experience in clinical or consumer recruiting call centers, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. Training is provided where needed.

• Experience in Clinical Recruiting or Consumer Recruiting call center.
• Familiarity with medical terminology; some training provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls to recruit, screen, and schedule study subjects.
• Interview potential study participants using questionnaires in the database.
• Maintain and grow the research database, update medical histories and patient status with privacy.
• Communicate with Clinical Research Coordinators to access scheduling and study support needs.
• Identify project challenges and report to the Senior Patient Recruiter.

Job description

What You'll Do:

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls by using a Clinical research database to recruit, screen, determine eligibility, schedule, and follow-up with potential study subjects and responds to inquiries relating to advertising and referrals to research studies
• Interview potential study participants using study questionnaires in the database to actively recruit and screen potential study participants in accordance with each protocol
• Responsible for the maintaining and growing of our research database, including updating medical histories, updating the database with participant data and maintaining patient status, security and patient privacy
• Regularly communicate with Clinical Research Coordinators to access scheduling and study support needs
• Proactively identify project challenges, problems, and/or potential deficiencies and communicate these to the Senior Patient Recruiter

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Clinical Recruiting or Consumer Recruiting call center
• Must be well versed in medical terminology and have the ability to speak about the details of the clinical trial – some training provided
