Qualifications

• Ability to read and write with basic grammar and arithmetic.
• Experience handling office/medical equipment and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receives, processes, and expedites requests for hospital bed assignments from Admissions.
• Coordinate bed assignments with Bed Managers and DES; update bed tracking systems.
• Ensure patient demographics and insurance information are complete before bed assignment.
• Assign patient rooms based on status conversions and re-assign beds as needed.
• Update systems/logs and maintain census records; generate reports as required.
• Assist with orientation/training of new employees as required.
