Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking a part-time Patient Placement Assistant to support the throughput team and ensure accurate patient placement. You will gather demographics, insurance and clinical data to place patients according to guidelines and collaborate with the throughput nurse.
Weekend and holiday rotation may be required. The role emphasizes service excellence in every patient interaction and adherence to policy and performance metrics.

High School Diploma or GED
Proven customer service experience, ability to synthesize clinical information to properly place patients to the correct location
Clinical background, Direct Patient care experience preferred

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
