Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Patient Nutrition Rep (PRN) to support patient meal service on assigned units, including tray assembly, delivery, and special requests. You will communicate patient nutrition issues with the care team and respond promptly to diet changes to ensure accurate and timely service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and no mandatory experience. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling to support patient care needs within a hospital

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, and addressing special requests and needs.
• Communicate patient food issues/concerns and needs to team members, interacting with nursing staff to support patient nutrition requirements.
• React accurately and efficiently to changes to ensure timely and accurate service and adherence to modified diets ordered by physicians.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery. Communicate patient food issues/concerns and needs to team members within the department and interacts with nursing employees in regards to patient nutrition needs or requirements. React accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services, accuracy of physician's ordered modified diets.
