Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Dietary Aide to support patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup. This role helps ensure patients receive timely, accurate meals aligned with orders.

You will work with nursing staff to address nutrition needs and adapt to physician orders for modified diets. Education options include H.S. Diploma or GED; no licensure required; hospital food service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Six months previous food service experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient food issues/concerns to team members within the department and with nursing staff regarding nutrition needs.
• React accurately to changes to ensure efficient timing of services and accuracy of physician's modified diets.

Responsibilities

Responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery. Communicate patient food issues/concerns and needs to team members within the department and interacts with nursing employees in regards to patient nutrition needs or requirements. React accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services, accuracy of physician's ordered modified diets.
