Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a Patient Nutrition Rep for night shifts on a part-time basis. Responsibilities include meal service on assigned units, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, and addressing patient dietary needs and requests.

You will communicate patient nutrition needs to the care team and help ensure accuracy and timeliness of modified diets, collaborating closely with nursing staff on a busy unit.

Formación

• Education: GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• No experience required; up to 6 months hospital food service experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Handle patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup.
• Communicate patient food issues/needs to team members and nursing staff to support nutrition requirements.
• Respond quickly to changes to maintain timely service and accuracy of modified diets ordered by physicians.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery. Communicate patient food issues/concerns and needs to team members within the department and interacts with nursing employees in regards to patient nutrition needs or requirements. React accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services, accuracy of physician's ordered modified diets.
