Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring for part-time Nutrition Operator roles at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, VA. The position runs 5:30 am–1:30 pm or 6:30 am–1:30 pm with rotating weekends; 1 year of call center/food service experience is required. A $750 sign-on bonus is offered with 1/2 paid at 30 days and the remainder at 90 days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous call center/food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Secures patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or in person.
• Adheres to telephone etiquette when communicating with patients and healthcare staff.
• Suggests menu alternatives within prescribed diet and dietary restrictions.
• Ensures accuracy of diet prescriptions and patient food needs with nursing staff.
• Complies with HIPAA policies and facility sanitation guidelines.
