Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for part-time NUTRITION OPERATOR positions at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am–2:00 pm or 2:00 pm–7:00 pm with rotating weekends. Prior call center experience is a plus. Pay range is $15.50 to $16.50 per hour.

You will assist patients by securing meal selections via telephone or in person, while following dietary guidelines and HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• Previous call center experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu per prescribed diet while considering allergies and cultural preferences.
• Responds to patient needs and resolves concerns or reports to supervisor.
• Adheres to dietary restrictions and diet orders to meet patient needs.
• Coordinates with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions are accurate.
• Follows HIPAA policies and sanitation regulations.
• Completes daily, weekly, or monthly reports on time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
