Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking an Evening Shift Dietary Aide to support patient meal service on our units in Newnan, Georgia.

You will assist with menu selections, tray assembly, and timely delivery while coordinating with nursing staff on patient nutrition needs and any modified diets. No formal experience required, but six months hospital food service experience is preferred; HS diploma or GED is acceptable; training provided.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; six months hospital food service experience preferred.
• Licenses and certifications: none required.

Responsibilities

• Serve patient meals on assigned units, including menu selections and tray assembly.
• Deliver and pickup meals and handle special requests.
• Communicate patient food issues to the team and coordinate with nursing on nutrition needs.
• Respond quickly to changes to ensure timely and accurate service, especially for modified diets.
