Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking an Patient Nutrition Rep for evening shifts. You will support patient meal service on assigned units, assemble trays, deliver and pickup meals, and accommodate special requests.

You will communicate patient nutrition needs to the team, coordinate with nursing staff, and respond to changes to ensure meals meet physician orders, while maintaining timely service in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required."
• Six months previous food service experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient meal service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.
• Communicate patient food issues/concerns and needs to team members within the department and interacts with nursing employees in regards to patient nutrition needs or requirements.
• React accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services, accuracy of physician's ordered modified diets.
