Job summary

ChenMed in Miami, FL is seeking a Patient Navigator I (Tier 1) to handle frontline, non-clinical patient interactions. You will manage tickets across three workstreams, explain options, and escalate when needed, while maintaining precise documentation in a CMS-compliant system.

You will work in a fast-paced call center, ensuring compassionate, compliant patient communication and accurate record-keeping, with opportunities for growth within the Patient Navigation team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service, call center, or patient-facing healthcare experience.
• Medicare Advantage/managed care or medical office experience preferred.
• CRM or case-management software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound tickets across three workstreams via centralized intake queue.
• Explain in-network options and encourage use of in-network care without denying coverage decisions.
• Escalate cases with clinical barriers to Tier 2 RN/Licensed Social Worker as needed.
