Job summary
Philips is seeking a Technical Consultant for our Hospital Patient Monitoring line, serving Kansas City, KS/MO. You will install, configure and support patient monitoring systems, telemetry devices, ventilators and related IT infrastructure in clinical environments.
You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues, document procedures, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑impact solutions that improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- 2.5+ years of experience in IT services or related technical environments.
- Experience with patient monitoring devices, telemetry units, ventilators and defibrillators preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 75% across geography; field-based work with some remote support.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, integrate and test patient monitoring and IT infrastructure solutions.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support and rapid issue resolution.
- Document configurations, troubleshooting steps and support procedures for knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, clinical partners, sales and service teams to ensure quality outcomes.
- Maintain organized records and follow change control and versioning practices.
