Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc is seeking a Food Service Associate to provide patient meals and support throughout the facility, serving patients from infancy to adulthood.

You will set up stations, stock supplies, retrieve trays, and ensure safe, sanitary, timely service in a cost-conscious environment. The role may cross-train across tray line and prep areas, with emphasis on cleanliness and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ months experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations before service.
• Retrieve patient meal trays as needed.
• Prepare or serve beverages and foods as required.
• Ensure sanitation and safety in food handling.
• Maintain proper food storage and rotate leftovers.
• Cross-train for multiple areas such as tray line, storeroom, and prep areas.
• Assist with dish room or cleaning duties as needed.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks and follow CDC hand hygiene guidelines.
