Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Food Service Associate to handle patient meal service, including timely assembly, final preparation and delivery of nourishing, appetizing meals. You will follow safety procedures and demonstrate strong customer service with patients and staff. No experience is required and on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and serves meals according to diet orders and patient needs.
• Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures.
• Restocks areas to meet department demands.
• Performs sanitation for the work area per procedures and health guidelines.
• Ensures equipment is prewashed, washed and sanitized.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
