Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is hiring a Food Service Associate to support patient meal service, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure nutrition and presentation meet diet orders. You will follow hygiene, safety, and infection control practices while delivering friendly service to patients and staff.

No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided; high school diploma or GED preferred, with opportunities for growth within our hospitality and patient care teams.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED preferred.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Previous food industry or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and serves meals according to diet orders, menus and patient/guest specific requirements.
• Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures when interacting with patients and guests.
• Restocks areas to meet department demands.
• Performs sanitation for the assigned work area per procedures and health guidelines.
• Ensures cooking and serving equipment is cleaned and sanitized per procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
