Qualifications

• Current state Food Manager Certificate required.
• Experience in quality food preparation and production in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or directs preparation of food items on assigned menus.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Labels, dates, and stores food items/leftovers promptly.
• Assists in training and supervising Nutrition Services staff when assigned.
• Inventories supplies and notifies director of shortages or discrepancies.
• Ensures meals are served on trays with correct flavor and temperature.
