Job summary

Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ is seeking a hospitality-focused food service worker to prepare and serve meals in a hospital setting. You will assemble and deliver patient meal trays, restock stations, and assist in tray-line operations.

You will interact with patients, monitor food quality and safety, and help maintain presentation standards across retail and patient dining areas, reporting safety concerns to department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers meal trays for patients
• Restocks items on workstations and washes, sanitizes, and restocks flatware and silverware
• Interacts with patients in taking meal orders and delivering meal trays
• Monitors patient and retail food lines and test trays for quality, temperature and food safety
• Informs department leadership of any safety issues on units, cafeteria or in kitchen
• Restocks products for patient use on the tray line
• Removes trash from kitchen
• Maintains the high standards of AHS in creating appealing presentation and food preparation
• Performs other related duties as assigned
